Experience in the areas of prosthetic and orthotic patient care, management, product development and scientific research. Developed expertise in scoliosis bracing, specifically the Cheneau brace and Rigo-System-Cheneau (RSC) bracing, upper and lower extremity orthotics as well as lower extremity prosthetics. Over 25 years of experience in England, Spain and the USA in prosthetics and orthotics. This included a six-year career working in lower extremity prosthetics in the USA, Grant Wood (left) and Dr. Rigo (right)
followed by a four-year Bachelor of Science degree at the
University of Salford, School of Prosthetics and Orthotics in England. A post-graduate six-year Master of Science by thesis was completed on idiopathic scoliosis treatment using the Cheneau brace at the Research Institute for Health, University of Salford. Working in Spain as a prosthetist and orthotist during eight years at Group IDEO in Sevilla and Malaga. Invited speaker, author of more than eight publications and winner of awards in prosthetics and orthotics.
